A new and significant chapter is opening for ZAON, as the women’s volleyball team prepares to represent the club and Greek volleyball in the CEV Challenge Cup.
Participation in European competition is a reward for the team’s outstanding performance during the 2025–2026 season, when it finished second in the Women’s Volley League and reached the championship finals for the first time in 45 years.
With a sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and high ambitions, ZAON is preparing for the new season and the demands of competing in both domestic and European competitions. The CEV Challenge Cup offers the team an opportunity to face clubs from different countries, gain valuable experience and showcase its strength and values on the European stage.
This new challenge represents both a significant sporting achievement and another milestone in the club’s continued development. Through teamwork, commitment and daily hard work, ZAON aims to compete strongly and create new moments of pride for everyone involved with the club and its supporters.
The support of our fans will once again be crucial. Together—players, coaching staff, management and supporters—we move into the new season united.
ZAON’s European journey begins!
